I posted a response to a blog called "Jay Cutler Must Go" that you can find on yardbarker. It was a long response so I'll share it with you. Not like anyone cares, but I feel it belongs on my blog.
Here it is
Ok, I'm tired of all the Jay Cutler hating going on. I actually wrote a blog/rant whatever you want to call it after their embarrassing loss to the Giants on Sunday night football a few weeks ago.
Here's a link to it (it's the most recent blog if you care to read it.)
http://mcroubs.blogspot.com/
Anyways, I will agree with you that Jay has been under performing since the Bears traded for him. I still believe the bears got a great QB for what they gave away. Yes, I believe they gave away too much, but I would much rather have Jay Cutler be the future to the Bears than Kyle Orton. The ONLY reason Orton is having more success in Denver than he did her in Chicago is because of the O-line change. Jay made the Pro Bowl at least once I know in Denver with their O-Line. It all comes down to protection. Without Protection Jay's INTs pretty much doubled and sack total probably quadrupled (probably an exaggeration, but you get the point).
On a side note, Martz is the Offensive Coordinator, not the O-Line coach.
Yes, it sometimes seems as if Jay may be giving up on the game, or looks lost out there with all the shoulder shrugging and holding his head down walking to the side line after another 3 and out that got them negative yards. So what? Would you be all smiles after the embarrassment he has gone through so far with the Bears? He's a competitive man, just like most people in the NFL and he shows it in his own way. At least he's not a distraction to the team. He could handle it by berating his team's play in the media after the games or throughout the week about how his protection is terrible or how Peppers is making all this money, but has barely any sacks. But he doesn't. He's very professional in his interviews I believe. Though, I kind of wish he would say something to try and fire the guys up because cause Lovie Smith sure as hell isn't going to do it. Don't even get me started on him, the guy looks confused every time the camera is on him and I never see him yelling at players. PLAYERS NEED TO BE YELLED AT. They need motivation. Someone should do it. Not this "Oh nice try guys, today wasn't our day, we'll get 'em next time, it doesn't matter if we lost as long as you gave it your best shot" crap I'm seeing from Lovie.
As far as what he said about Deangelo Hall. He probably shouldn't have said that after a performance like that, but even he said it's hard for him to say something like that after what just happened. He thinks he's great, that's a good thing. Do you want a QB with no confidence? Besides, two of those picks could have been prevented by the WRs, but the Bears' WRs are too young, dumb and inexperienced. That's a whole other issue Jay has to deal with as well.
Clearly I am a bears fan, and clearly I am a huge Jay Cutler fan. I understand why people are gettings frustrated, but Jay can't be the center of the blame. I just don't see it. I blame the Coaching (especially Lovie) and Martz for being such a stubborn coach, and we all know he is. Run the ball more, jack ass. The bears have a whole lot of issues and Jay Cutler seems to be getting all the blame because of how much we gave up to acquire him. If they ever improve their O-Line, or if they ever figure out how to block for Jay, then we'll see the reason why we gave up so much for him. He's the franchise QB, he is the future, they won't get rid of him, so improve the 0-Line and problem solved. If Jay had the line of oh, say the Colts, or the Patriots, or ANY other team that a QB has all day to throw with then he'd be a stud. But if you threw precious Peyton Manning or Tom Brady behind the Bears line, they'd look just as lost and confused as Jay does at times.
And here's a link to the actual article this response was for.

I'm a pessimistic Chicago Sports fan who gets a boner when football season comes around...
Like that title? LOL...
Anyways, I love this time of the year. Football ladies and gents, football. Greatest sport to watch, greatest fantasy sport to play, and of course the greatest video game of all time, Madden.
As you all know, or if you don't already, I am a die hard Bears fan. I'm pretty pessimistic when it comes to sports though because I am from Chicago and not much good has happened in the world of Chicago sports, especially during my lifetime.
Yeah there was Jordan, which was amazing, but I was young when he was around. Walter Payton was before my time, though I was born the year the Bears started their epic Super Bowl season (1985 bitches). I have seen the White Sox win the 2005 World Series and the Blackhawks won this year, but aside from that there's been a few great seasons from Chicago athletes and a few playoff appearances here or there, but that's all, so that's my reasoning for being so pessimistic. I love Chicago sports, but I'm so used to disappointment it brings out the negativity in me.
Anyways, back to football. I want to talk about the Bears.
I'm sure most of you saw their Sunday night destruction against the Giants on national television. 10 sacks in one half. This is unacceptable. And of course all the Jay Cutler haters jump all over the opportunity to blame him. People, listen to me. It's not Jay's fault at all. Sure, he could have tried to run out of the pocket on a couple of them sacks, or he could have tried to throw a pass quicker rather than getting a sack. But are you forgetting the man threw 26 picks last year or whatever and A LOT of them came because he was under pressure and he tried to force plays and everyone said he needs to be more patient or just take a sack sometimes. What do you want from the guy? His line is absolute shit, the whole line needs to be replaced. If you don't believe me, if you think it's still Jay's fault lets take a look at the Bears rushing production this year. Oh wait, there hasn't been any because the fucking line can't run block either. Still don't believe me? Lets check Kyle Orton's stats. Look 'em up and you'll see his yardage and TDs have increased significantly since being traded to the Broncos in the Jay Cutler trade. His INTs have also decreased, still high, but fewer than before. Hmmm Kyle Orton looks like he's been out performing Jay Cutler, well it's because of the god damn offensive line. I still endorse Jay Cutler and will take him over ANY former Bear QB, EVER. Jim McMahon...You give Cutler the 85 Bears line and he wins a super bowl too.
Enough about Cutler though. Lets talk about the WRs. I like them all, I really do. Their inexperience however is not really helping the Bears' situation. Personally though I would lean heavy on Knox, Olsen and Bennett. Hester should be a situational WR and used on PR and KR. Why take him out of KR? Dumbest move they ever made. Forte is an excellent target for Cutler as well. I was a big fan of Aromashadu too, but I guess he's scared to go over the middle and well, I'm not a fan of that. Bennett on the other hand is like a vacuum and sucks up anything near him and he'll take a hit and not give a shit. He's the possession WR for sure. I just wish he was a little faster, but still love 'em. Knox reminds me of Steve Smith (Panthers), just a little less of an asshole. He's fast as hell, can catch, doesn't have the agility of Smith, but he doesn't want to go down. He's feisty. His time will come. Olsen I love as well, as a WR, as a blocker he is shit. He has coughed up a few fumbles in key moments, but most LBs can't match up with him and if he gets 1 on 1 coverage he has huge plays.
The D. The D is back baby. Peppers is an animal. Urlacher is healthy. Briggs is playin' great ball. Tillman is always solid. T Harris is having issues, I hope he comes around, but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if he was gone after this year. Jennings is stepping up. DJ Moore has been stepping up. The only problems I see on the D right now are Manning and LE. Manning is terrible. Chris Harris I'm just a huge fan of, but we could use two new safeties, though Chris Harris is OK for now. I hope they get Major Wright some more playing time at safety cause he's going to be huge for us in the future I think. The Bears rely heavily on the D and they're back to punching the ball out for fumbles. Missed that most of last year, but they've been doing it a lot this year.
The running situation. It's like I said before, there isn't one because of the O-Line. The bears whole season rests on correcting the problems at O-Line. Either the whole O-Line somehow learns to block RIGHT NOW or Cutler will continue to get hit and Forte will continue to get stuffed at the line.
Another thing that would help is if they would adapt to what's going on in the game. The only game I saw them do that in so far this year was Dallas. It looked a lot like the Giants game early on. For the first few possessions the Bears couldn't move the ball because of the pressure that was coming in at Cutler. He was hurried some ridiculous number like 20 times early on and sacked 4 or 5 of those time and hit like 9 times or something. So what did they do? They started throwing quick passes and from that opening they scored and produced yards and moved the ball around and ended up with a win. Why they didn't try something like that against the Giants I do not know, but with the O-Line they have they're going to have to start firing off some passes quicker. ADAPT to the game like they did in Dallas and they should be OK with the situation they have. But the bottom line is that the O-Line needs a MAJOR overhaul. Free Agents, draft picks, trades...I don't care how they do it, but it needs to be done soon.
That is all I have for now.

Inspired...Bored...Felt like tryin this...
I've always been a huge fan of rap. There's just certain lyrics out there that are pretty amazing and sometimes I feel like I want to try it out...
Well I'm bored...
So here goes...
****I'm quiet, don't like to talk
So get your shit outta my face and take a walk
Oh you mad now?
I'm like Bart Simpson "Don't have a cow"
Now you say I'm boring?
Sorry if I'm not word whoring
Leave me alone, leave me be.
One day there'll be an uproaring!****
Feel free to rip into this all you want.
I don't give a shit.
Suck it.
Peace.
PS-I actually posted this September 24, 2010 @ 2:28am on Facebook.

Felt like writing/venting
Haven't done this in a while. Where to begin? I don't know...
Work...Work...Work...that's all I do really. Work and video games/tv/movies when I'm not at work with the ocassional appearance at a bar or a party. That's my life. I'm grateful I have a job. I really like having money. It feels good to be rewarded after all the hard work I do. And if you think I don't have a tough job, you're absolutely incorrect. It's not rough physically, but mentally it wears on me. Very stressful at times. For instance, having to talk to a family after they've just lost someone about if they have a funeral home in mind, or if they're in the ER and are in critical conditon I get to ask these people for their information and register them. Lovely. That's just a couple of the stressful things about my job. I'm not saying it's toughest job in the world. Everyone's job causes stress. I don't know what I'm saying actually. It's just wearin' on my mind right now.
Sidebar-I really want a dog, but my Dad still won't let me have one in the apartment building for a few stupid reasons. One, he's the owner of the building and has told tennants no pets allowed. Well, you're the owner dad, you can have a pet and still tell others they can't. Another reason, one of the tennants who lives on the 2nd floor is allergic to dogs. Well, he lives on the 2nd floor and would never be in any contact with the dog, nor would he ever be near it, so problem solved. There's just something about dogs that I love. They're so playful, cheerful and innocent.
I don't really have much of a social life anymore. Work takes up a lot of my time and because I never really have a set schedule it's difficult to make any plans. The only thing guranteed about my schedule is that I work every other weekend. But even sometimes we get an extra weekend off which gives us 3 weekends off in a row, but causes me work Monday-Friday in between those weekends. And we only get our schedule two weeks at a time, which also sucks and makes it even harder to make plans. Other than that reason, I really am never in the mood to go out much anymore. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I sit at home every day I'm off and do nothing. I do go out, but honestly half the time I'm off I'd rather just sit inside and relax and mentally recharge. Sometimes I just want to be alone. Sometimes I just want to play video games, or watch tv/movies.
I feel better now.
