McRoubs' Introduction

Hello there, my name is Bob Roubik and I am a 22-year-old Journalism Major at Eastern Illinois University.

I go by the name McRoubs because it was a nickname given to me many years ago by my best friends.

I will be using this blog to give my views on things in the world.

I may comment on current news, issues, movies, sports or music.

Pertaining to news I most likely will be searching for humorous headlines and comment on the stupidity of people in the world, but I will occasionally have something serious on this blog about a current event or issue.

I go to a lot of movies and would consider myself a pretty big movie buff so any time I go see a movie I will most likely put some commentary about the movie up on this blog.

Sports are a huge part of my life and my friends always tell me they like to go to me for any questions they have about sports. I am no way claiming I am an expert when it comes to sports, but I like to think I know more than some people out there. I will using this blog as a way to put my opinions and views about sports out there as well.

I also love music, so anytime I listen to a new CD or go to a concert I will have some sort of commentary up on this blog about that as well.
